Pacer golfers on
par for season
The Switzerland County boys varsity golf team has been busy on the links as the schedule heads towards tournament play.
Three-way win
On Thursday, May 12th, the Pacers hosted conference foes Jac-Cen-Del and South Ripley at Belterra.
Switzerland County won the match with a team score of 188; while Jac-Cen-Del finished with a score of 193. South Ripley did not have enough golfers to record a team score.
Bryce Wrightsman was the medalist in the match, posting a nine-hole score of 41.
Evan Bosaw finished with a round of 43; Jacob Williams had a 51; Sam Schroer fired a 53; Braydan Allen had a 60; and Jackson White finished with a 69.
Batesville
The Pacers traveled to Batesville on Friday, May 13th, and earned second place in a three way meet.
Oldenburg won the match with a team score of 204; followed closely by Switzerland County with a score of 207 and Trinity Lutheran with a score of 210.
Pacer senior Bryce Wrightsman posted a round of 45 to finish second overall in the match; while other Switzerland County players included Adrian Armstrong with a 52; Evan Bosaw with a 54; Jacob Williams with a 56; and Sam Schroer with a 59.
Rivertown Tournament
Switzerland County finished second overall on Monday night, May 16th, in the Rivertown Tournament held at Belterra.
Lawrenceburg won the event with a score of 177; followed by Switzerland County with 196; Rising Sun with 215; and South Dearborn with 218.
Individually for the Pacers, Bryce Wrightsman continued his outstanding season, shooting a 40 to finish in second place overall by one stroke.
Evan Bosaw finished with a 48 for the Pacers; Braydan Allen fired a 53; Adrian Armstrong had a 55; and Jacob Williams finished with a 62.
