ORVC announces statistical leaders

The Ohio River Valley Conference has announced its statistical leaders in both girls and boys basketball. All statistics are compiled through January 3rd games.

In boys basketball:

– Kyle Green is tied for second in the ORVC in the number of three-pointers made with 17; is third in the conference in scoring with an average of 15.7 points per game; is sixth in freethrow percentage at .770; and is seventh in assists with 24.

– Travis Tackett is tops in the conference in the number of three-pointers made with 20; is 10th in scoring with an average of 10.5 points per game; is fourth in rebounding with an average of 6.7 rebounds per game; is fifth in field goal percentage at .510; and is ninth in freethrow percentage at .730.

– Noah Hughes is fourth in freethrow percentage at .800; is eighth in assists with 18; and is tied for ninth in the number of three-pointers made with seven.

– Brennan Bragg is fourth in the conference in scoring with an average of 15.4 points per game; is third in field goal percentage at .590; and is third in rebounding with an average of 6.8 per game.

– Mark Sharp leads the conference in assists with 71.

– Clay Meyer is tied for ninth in rebounding with an average of 5.4 per game.

– Alec McAlpine is tied for 10th in the number of three-pointers made with six.

In girls basketball:

– Kristen Perry is eighth in the conference in scoring with an average of 12.5 points per game; is seventh in field goal percentage at .410; is seventh in rebounding with an average of 6.1 per game; and eighth in freethrow percentage with an average of .625.

– Jenna Daugherty is fourth in the league in rebounding with an average of 6.7 per game; is ninth in field goal percentage at .391; and is 10th in freethrow percentage at .559.

– Maggie Armstrong is 10th in scoring with an average of 11.4 points per game; fifth in freethrow percentage at .676; seventh in assists with 24; and fifth in the number of three-pointers made with seven.

– Hailee Smith is tied for third in the conference in freethrow percentage at .692.

– Casey Sharp is second in the ORVC in assists with 29.
