James Schenck

James David “Jim” Schenck, 64, of Vevay, passed away Tuesday, April 3rd, at his home.
He was born December 30th, 1942, in Louisville, the son of Henry Anthony and Agnes Helen (Senn) Schenck, who both preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Morgan High School in Palmyra, Indiana.
He was united in marriage to Paula Gay Rickard on March 1st, 1974, in Salem, Indiana.
He was a supervisor for the U.S. Shoe Corporation in Vevay and Wilmington, Ohio, from 1981-1999. He was a former employee for Beta Shoe Factory in Salem from 1961-1980. He had resided in Vevay since 1981 and enjoyed woodworking and was a sports enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Schenck of Vevay; his sons, James Schenck, Jr., and wife Sherry of Fredericksburg, Indiana, Jody Schenck and wife Susan of Corydon, Aaron Kennedy and wife Gina of North Vernon, and Joseph Kennedy and wife Beth of Walton, Kentucky; his daughter, Tammy Gnagy and husband Jerry of Louisville; his grandchildren, Cody, Parker, Madison, Katrinia, Timothy, Shalena and Casey; his brothers, Norman Schenck of Valley Station, Kentucky, Bernard Schenck of Bradford, Indiana, Carl Schenck of Edwardsville, Illinois, and Alvin Schenck of Georgetown, Indiana; his sister, Martha Ann Neuner of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Theodore, Wilbert, Louis and Stanley Schenck; and his sister, Mary Agnes Payne.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 6th, by Reverend Martin Justice at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in McKay Cemetery near Vevay. Freddie Cunningham

Freddie Julius Cunningham, 64, of Quercus Grove, passed away Sunday, April 8th, at his home.
He was born April 15th, 1942, in Bracken County, Kentucky, the son of Archie William and Frona (Dixon) Cunningham, who both preceded him in death.
He was united in marriage June 4th, 1962, in Maysville, Kentucky, to Sierra Sue Cotty. She died December 11th, 2000. He was later united in marriage on May 11th, 2002, in East Enterprise, to Karoline Colter.
He resided in the Quercus Grove community since 1959. He was a mechanic and had owned and operated Freddie’s Repair Shop in Quercus Grove. He also worked construction for Joe Getz and Rod Dickerson. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Karoline Cunningham of Quercus Grove; his daughters, Rosemary Osborn and husband Neal of Vevay and Tammy Hawkins and husband Doodle of Vevay; his sons, Allen Cunningham and wife Joi of Cincinnati, Harold Cunningham and wife Cheryl of Florence, and Johnny Cunningham and wife Becky of Vevay; his grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Tesla, Savannah, Michael, Samantha, Vanessa, Brittany, Justin, Lisa and Timmy; his stepsons, Tommy Lehman of Santa Ana, California, and Richard Sanchez of Quercus Grove; his sisters, Sarah Leevus of Maysville, Kentucky and Erma Mason of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; his brothers, Robert Cunningham of Germantown, Kentucky and Donald Cunningham of Hebron, Kentucky.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Archie and David Cunningham; and his sister, Dellma Leevus.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 11th, by Reverend Ronald Sandidge at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in Vevay Cemetery.
