Shawnta Wynn

Shawnta Marie (Garvey) Wynn, 29, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, March 21st, in Hanover.
She was born November 19th, 1977, in Madison, the daughter of James Lee Garvey and Tammy Sue (Eden) Williams. She was raised in Vevay and attended school in Vevay until the age of 16 when she moved to the Hanover community. She was employed as a licensed bartender and janitor at the Electric Lady in Madison. She was a former licensed bartender for Belterra Casino Resort and Spa in Florence. She enjoyed crafts and painting.
She was united in marriage February 3rd, 2005, to Thomas Wynn, Jr., in Carrollton, Kentucky.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Wynn, Jr., of Madison; her sons, Thomas Wynn, III of Hanover and Israel Madden of Hanover; her daughter, Shyan Stivers of Owenton, Kentucky; her father, James Lee Garvey of Hanover; her mother and stepfather, Tammy Sue (Eden) and David Williams of New Albany; her stepmother, Treva Shepherd of Gatlin, Illinois; her brothers, Damon Rolston of Greensburg, James Lee Garvey, II of Greensburg, Dustin D. Garvey of Hanover, and Cody L. Leyav of Hanover; her grandma, Virginia Garvey of Vevay; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James H. Garvey, Tom and Frances Eden, and Glenford and Betty Imel.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 25th, by Reverend James Cox at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in Vevay Cemetery. Charlene Bherns

Charlene Renee (Neal) Bherns, 46, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Vevay and Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, March 18th, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born October 2nd, 1960, in Switzerland County, the daughter of Charles Estol and Patricia Ann “Patti” (Bliss) Neal, who both preceded her in death. She spent her early life in Switzerland County until her family moved to Indianapolis where she graduated in 1979 from Warren Central High School. She was employed for 16 years as a supervisor and dispatcher for Crete Carrier in Indianapolis until she became disabled. She resided in Fort Wayne the past 15 months. She enjoyed shopping, but most of all her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Bherns of Fort Wayne; her son, Kenneth Carson and wife Crystal of Indianapolis; her daughters, Patricia Bey and husband Timothy of Portage, Indiana, and Christina Day of Crawfordsville; her stepson, Douglas Bherns of Albion, Indiana; her stepdaughters, Jessica Bherns of Kendallville, Indiana and Nichole Bherns of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Jericho, Georgia, Carolyn, T.J., Samantha and Patrick; her brothers, Terry Neal of Tampa, Florida and Danny Neal of Indianapolis; and her sister, Carol Golay of Indianapolis.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Charles Carson; her grandmother, Ada (Roland) Lock; and her grandfather, Harold L. Bliss.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 27th, by Reverend Howard Wade at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in Vevay Cemetery.
