Dorothy B. McClurg

Dorothy B. (Hammond) McClurg, 77, of Vevay, passed away Tuesday, February 6th, at Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay.

Emma Lou Brindley

Emma Lou Brindley, 88, of Carrollton, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 3rd, at Green Valley Health & Rehab Center in Carrollton.
She was born April 30th, 1918, in Carroll County, the daughter of Roy G. and Elvessa (McKendria) Adams. She was a retired nurses aid at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lou Stewart of Carrollton; her half sisters, Virginia Ann “Ginny” Adams of Cincinnati, Ohio and Martha Lucille Stephenson of Elizabethtown, Indiana; her half brothers, Richard Roy Adams of Florence and Frank D. Adams of Georgetown, Ohio; her adopted sister, Emma Jean Pate of Carrollton; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmom, Mabel Adams; her husband, Edward L. Brindley; her son, William L. Courtney; her brother, Charles Noble Adams; and her half brothers, Robert E. and Arthur Adams.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 6th, by Reverend Chris White at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County Relay for Life. Donna Kay (McCracken) Ray, 62, of Allensville, passed away Wednesday, February 7th, at her home.
