Frederick Stave
Frederick Roland “Fred” Stave, age 78, of Patriot, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana.
Michael Lukie
Michael John Lukie 65, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday June 27th, 2018 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
He was born on August 5th, 1952 in Madison, the son of the late Harry Lukie and Margaret (French) Lukie.
Michael has worked for Randall Company in Vevay, Chase Heating and Plumbing, Terrace View Health Care in maintenance and also bartended at Riverside Cafe.. He was a member of the Aurora VFW.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to yard sales and looking through the ‘Wheeler Dealer’ magazine. He loved to play darts and cards. Michael enjoyed time with his family and friends and he will be greatly missed.
Michael is survived by his loving spouse, Loraine (Covington) Lukie; by his children: Shandra Lab of Montana, Joshua (Stacey) Lukie of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Jodi (Brian) Goldsberry of Burlington, Kentucky, and James (Deborah) Karn of Belle, Missouri; by his siblings: Frances Sheldon of West Liberty, Kentucky, Paula Foss of Upland, California, David (Donna) Lukie of North Vernon, Indiana, Billy (Brenda) Lukie of North Carolina, and James R. Lukie of Idaho; by his grandchildren: Fischer, Tanner, Marley and Waylyn Lukie, Lindsey and Travis Goldsberry, Kerri, Kristina, Kellsie and Kaitlynne Karn, Kory and Lane Bressert and MacKenzie (Jon) Phillips; and by his great-grandchildren: Lynzie Whaley, Aubrey Clark, Mason Ferrick, Elijah Karn, Kensley Ferrick and Brooklyn Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his daughter, Misty Bressert; and by his sister, Allie Springer.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 5th, from 4-6 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m., with Pastor Tommy Beatley officiating.

Marcus Schoonover
Marcus Lee “Marc” Schoonover, age 19, of Marengo, Indiana, formerly of Madison, died on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018, at 12:44 p.m. at his residence.
Marcus entered this life on July 5th, 1998 in LaGrange, Kentucky. He was the loving son of David Brian McGinnis and Jennifer Lynn Schoonover McGinnis. He resided most of his life in Jefferson County and attended Madison Consolidated High School. In school he played football and wrestled. He enjoyed wrestling for Team Indiana, participating at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club. He had worked at Arvin Sango and the Madison Wendy’s Restaurant.
He moved in January to Marengo to be near his father, and worked for Papa Johns Pizza, Jasper Rubber Products and currently for the Overlook Restaurant in Leavenworth.
He made his profession of faith at the Fairview General Baptist Church in Taswell where he was currently a member.
Marcus loved playing the drums, rapping, writing music, wrestling, playing basketball and football, and making music on SoundCloud and making beats on Youtube.
Marcus will be missed by his loving father, David Brian McGinnis and his fiancee’, Ginger Hackman of Marengo, Indiana; by his loving mother, Jennifer Lynn Schoonover McGinnis and her companion, Chris Leahigh of Madison; by his loving brothers, Dakota “Cody” Ryan McGinnis of Marengo, Indiana, William Anthony Schoonover of Madison, and Chandler Leahigh of Madison; by his loving sister, Sarah Lynn McGinnis of Madison; his loving great grandma, Mary Franscisco of Madison; by his aunts: Charlotte Cooper of Cincinnati, Ohio and Shelly McGinnis and her companion, Kris Woodfill of Madison; by his uncles: Tim Schoonover of Vevay, David William Schoonover of Vevay, and Gary McGinnis and his wife, Darla of Madison.
He will also be missed by his great aunts: Sandra Phillips and her husband, Claude of Hanover, Indiana, Vivian Shields and her husband, Roger of Charlestown, Indiana, Ruby Kasper and her husband, Charlie of Ocala, Florida, and Pamela May and her husband, Ray of Kent, Indiana; several cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Adrian and Beulah Louise Schoonover; Lenville “Mac” Troy and Sharon Ann McGinnis.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, July 1st, 2018, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment followed in the Fairmount Cemetery in Madison. Friends were invited to call on the family on Saturday, June 30th and on Sunday, July 1st prior to the beginning of the service at the funeral home.
