Josh Snow, former resident of Switzerland County, now of Englewood, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017, after an eight year battle with cancer.
Josh was a 2006 graduate of Switzerland County High School, where he was a member of the Sectional championship basketball team his senior year.
He married Bonnie Ann Snow on October 19th, 2012.
In addition to his wife, Josh is survived by five children: Mareena McNabb, Montana McNabb, Rheann Rosfild, Joshua Adam Snow, Jr., and Elizabeth Jane Snow. He is also survived by his parents: Calvin Snow and Jeanette Leath Snow; by his sister: Michell Bloomfield; a brother: Shawn Snow; and four nephews.
Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
Charles Tingle, Sr.
Charles L. Tingle, Sr., 73, of Dillsboro passed away on Friday, May 26th, 2017 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born at Bethlehem in Henry County, Kentucky on November 15th, 1943 the son of Gilbert and Leona Raisor Tingle.
Charles attended the Jefferson-Craig School and also attended Vevay High School. He was a former employee of U.S. Shoe in Madison and Osgood; was a farmer; and retired in 2008 from Seymour Tubing.
He was united in married to Barbara Bryant on October 21st, 2000 and she survives.
Other survivors include, three sons: Charles Tingle of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; Jeff (Cindy) Tingle of Vevay; and Lonnie (Debbie) Tingle of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; and by three step-children: Paul (Sid) Yorn of New Marion, Indiana; Scott (Liz) Benham of Butlerville, Indiana; and Brent (Katrina) Benham of Holton, Indiana.
He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and by one sister, Shelby (Benny) Garland of Vevay.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Larry Tingle; his great-grandson Dylan Jennings; brothers Earl and Donnie Tingle; and his sisters Shirley Hewitt, Leora Marsh, Wilma Romans, and Lois Taylor.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 31st at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles, with Reverend Anthony Wilkes officiating. Burial was in the Craven Cemetery at Milan. Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 30th, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Rescue 30 in care of the funeral home.
