Ann Mae Henderson

  Ann Mae Henderson, age 57, of Vevay, passed away at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019, at the St. Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.

  Ann entered this life on December 18th, 1961, in Dearborn County, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Willie Be and Helen Louise (James) Henderson. She was raised in Switzerland County and Ohio County, and attended Rising Sun High School.

  Ann was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

  Ann will be missed by her daughter, Savannah Maria Fisse and her husband, James of Patriot; by her adopted daughter, Becky Foster and her husband Scotty of Madison; by her grandchildren: William Skylar Morgan and his fiancée, Cheyenne Minch, Brittany Nicole Fisse, James Anthony Fisse, Jr., Leland Michael Lane Fisse, Hunter Bruce Wayne Fisse and Alivia Foster; by her brothers: Denver Lee Henderson and his wife, Christine of Independence, Kentucky, Donald Eugene Henderson of Madison, Darrell Wayne “Buckwheat” Henderson of Richmond, Indiana, Robert Dale Henderson of Warsaw, Kentucky, Rondall Lynn “Fred” Henderson and his wife, Vickie of Patriot, and Carl William Henderson of Patriot; by her sisters: Sue Elizabeth Cunningham and her husband, Clinton “Red” of Florence, Indiana, Wilma Louise Ollman of Florence, Indiana, and Roseann Marie Owens and her companion, Robert “Peppy” of Patriot; by her close nieces and nephews: Amy Henderson and her daughter, Brianna Coots, Samantha Cunningham and her son, Damon “BooBoo” Ellis, and Blayden “BlayBlay” Ellis; and her other numerous nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Be Henderson, who died on January 8th, 1997 and Helen Louise (James) Henderson, who died on February 14th, 2001; by her grandmother, Pansy Mae (James) Bailey, who died on April 18th, 1995; and by her nephew, Wayne Allen Lester, who died on March 11th, 2004.

  Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, September 17th, by Reverend Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana, 47043. Interment followed in the Cedar Hedge Cemetery, Rising Sun. Friends were invited to call on the family on Tuesday, September 17th, prior to the beginning of the services at the funeral home.

Mary Grace Barlage

  Mary Grace Barlage, age 67, of Vevay, passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay.

  Mary entered this life on February 4th, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Charles Waters and Bernice (Barlage) Brown. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Hughes High School.

  Mary was united in marriage to Hurdis Rose; and spent several years of companionship with Robert “Bob” Springer and they were blessed with a daughter, Michelle.

  Mary was employed as a technician for a nursing home in Blue Ash, Ohio and for the Harrison House in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a former member of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 and the Vevay VFW Post #5396. Mary enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.

  Mary will be missed by her daughter, Michelle Springer and her companion, Bubby Lewis of Vevay; by her grandchildren: Nick Smallwood and Blake Green; by her brothers: David Barlage, Robert Roberts and Daniel Roberts all of Cincinnati, Ohio; and by her several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Waters and Bernice (Barlage) Brown; by her grandparents who raised her, Elmer and Grace Bice; and by her sister, Sharon K. McCulley.

  Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, September 14th, by Reverend Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana, 47043. Interment followed in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay. Friends were invited to call on the family on Saturday, September 14th, prior to the beginning of the services at the funeral home.
