Cleo Rose Sublett, 86, of Warsaw, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday February 18th, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, Kentucky.
Cleo was born on April 28th, 1933 in Grant County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Cash and Julie Ann Kimberlin Martin.
On March 23rd, 1989, she was united in marriage to Brian Sublett; who survives.
She worked as a desk clerk for Western-Southern Insurance in Cincinnati for many years and was a faithful and committed mother, wife and homemaker. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Verona, Kentucky.
Cleo leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 31 years, Brian Sublett; her daughter, Melissa (late Michael) Ireland of Union, Kentucky; her son, Robert (Brenda) Messmer of Crittenden, Kentucky; her two grandchildren: Megan Freyer of Harlan, Kentucky and Cody Messmer of Paris, Kentucky; her three great-grandchildren: Elijah Cash Freyer, Everly Grace Freyer and Catherine Rose Messmer; and her brother-in-law, Andy Truitt of Vevay.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers: Glenn Martin and A.J. Martin.
Visitation was held on Saturday February 22nd, at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, Kentucky; and the funeral service followed the time of visitation. Burial was in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, Kentucky.

Elizabeth J. “Lizzie” Wickey, age 59, of Bennington, Indiana, passed away at 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Lizzie entered this life on September 8th, 1960 in Berne, Indiana. She was the daughter of Jacob J. Wickey and Rosina R. “Rosie” (Schwartz) Wickey. She was raised in Berne, Indiana and had resided in the Pleasant and Bennington communities since 1988.
Lizzie received her education and was of the Old Order Amish faith. She was lovingly cared for by her family until her death.
Lizzie is survived by her mother, Rosina R. “Rosie” (Schwartz) Wickey of Bennington; by her brothers: Jerry Wickey of Canaan, Indiana, Reuben Wickey and his wife Emma of Bennington, Andy Wickey and his wife Ruth of Canaan, Jacob Wickey and his wife Katie of Owingsville, Kentucky, Amos Wickey of Bennington, Harvey Wickey and his wife Esther of Cross Plains, Indiana, Eli Wickey and his wife Clara of Cross Plains, Indiana, Rudy Wickey and his wife Emma of Canaan, Indiana, and Simon Wickey and his wife Rachel of Bennington; by her sister, Mattie Wickey of Bennington; and her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jacob J. Wickey; by her sisters: Emma Wickey, Mary J. Wickey and Ruth Schwartz; by her nephews: Ben K. Wickey and Amos Schwartz; by her niece, Rebecca Schwartz; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th, and will also be held on Thursday, February 27th, at the Wickey Residence, 4112 Aberdeen Road, Bennington, Indiana, 47011.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 28th, at 9 a.m., at the Wickey Residence, 4112 Aberdeen Road, Bennington, Indiana, 47011.
Interment will follow in the Old Order Amish Cemetery, Pleasant, Indiana. Haskell and Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay is assisting the family at this difficult time.
Donna Kay Keith, age 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Allensville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at 5:57 p.m. on Monday, February 17th, 2020, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Donna was born on December 12th, 1961 in Madison to proud parents Kirby and Charlotte Rebecca “Becky” (Lewis) Keith. She was a 1980 graduate of Switzerland County High School. She was a two-time graduate of Vincennes University, in 1982 and 1984.
She was currently employed as a project designer for Coor Consulting in Knightstown, Indiana for 15 years. Donna enjoyed spending time with her cats, her family and also her friends. She was also an avid “Fever” fan.
Donna will be missed by her brother Darrell Keith and his wife Rita of Allensville, Indiana; by her nephew Aaron Keith and his wife Jennifer of Allensville, Indiana; by her niece Courtnie (Keith) Parks and her husband William “BJ” of Allensville, Indiana; by her great-nephews: Colton, Slade, and Camdyn; by her great-niece, Annabella “Bella”; by her aunts and uncles: Jonas Keith of Milan, Indiana, Roy “Red” and Barbara Keith of Vevay, Sarah McCreary of Allensville, Martha Keith of Center Square and Ruth Ann Keith of Dillsboro, Indiana; and her numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Kirby Keith, who died on August 24th, 1993 and Charlotte Rebecca “Becky” (Lewis) Keith, who died on July 20th, 1978; by her paternal-grandparents, James Wilford Keith, who died on October 30th, 1981 and Avis O. (Chase) Keith, who died on October 14th, 1977; by her maternal-grandparents: Edgar Root Lewis, who died on November 26th, 1952 and Margaret E. (Smith) Pavy Lewis, who died on January 14th, 1942; and her numerous aunts and uncles.

Bernard Clyde Hartley, age 69, of Charlestown, Indiana, formerly of Cross Plains, Indiana, passed away at 7:23 p.m. on Friday, February 21st, 2020, at the Clark Memorial Health in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Bernard entered this life on December 27th, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late Charles Alfred and Emme Lou (McKay) Hartley. He was raised in Louisville, Kentucky where he was a 1969 graduate of Butler High School.
He was employed for General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky for several years. Bernard was a driver for the Madison State Hospital in Madison until he became disabled after 13 years of service. He was a member of the Cross Plains Baptist Church and resided in the Cross Plains community for over 30 years until he moved to the Charlestown, Indiana community in 2015.
Bernard was an avid New York Yankees and Wildcats fan and enjoyed working on computers, playing poker and spending time with his grandchildren.
Bernard will be missed by his son, Craig Hartley and his wife Jessica of Cross Plains; by his daughter, Alisha Hartley and her companion Jerry Hoskins of Patriot; by his grandchildren: Kynnadi, Chazz, Braxton, Aillan, Ian, Erin and Emily; by his brothers, Brother Cliff Hartley and his wife Karen of Canaan, Indiana and David Hartley and his wife Vicki of Springfield, Ohio; by his sisters: Kathryn Miller and her husband Joe of Newton, Texas and Patty O’Hara and her husband Leo of Jeffersonville, Indiana; and his several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Alfred Hartley, who died on September 17th, 1990 and Emme Lou (McKay) Hartley, who died on August 22nd, 2012; and by his son, Bernard Charles “Chuck” Hartley, who died on July 13th, 2011.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 28th, at 1 p.m., by Reverend Joe Miller at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana, 47043. Carolyn L. (Miller) Griffin, age 85, of Pleasant, Indiana, passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay.
Carolyn entered this life on February 9th, 2020 in Zenas, Jennings County, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Arnold Wilbur and Gladys Mary (Lindsay) Miller. She was raised in Pleasant, Indiana and attended Vevay High School.
Carolyn was united in marriage on March 1st, 1952 in Vevay by Reverend Griffith to the late Everett Dean Griffin. This happy union was blessed with three sons: Ronnie, Dwayne and Mike; and a daughter, Joyce. Carolyn and Dean shared nearly 65 loving years of marriage together until Dean passed away on February 23rd, 2017.
Carolyn was the former Pleasant Township Trustee, retiring in 2008 after 24 years of service. She was formerly employed for the Switzerland County License Branch in Vevay for four years and for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay for five years. Carolyn was a notary and a self-employed wallpaper hanger for many years.
She resided all of her life in the Pleasant, Indiana community and was a member of the St. Mary’s Homemakers Club and Brushy Fork Baptist Church. Carolyn will be remembered for her love of quilting and watching the Cincinnati Reds and IU basketball.
Carolyn will be missed by her children: Ronnie Griffin and his wife Mary Lou of Bennington, Dwayne Griffin and his wife Brenda of Rising Sun, Mike Griffin and his wife Cindy of Madison, and Joyce Barnes and her husband Mike of near Moorefield; by her grandchildren: Travis, Christy, Amber, Ryan, Michelle, Kassie and Emily; by her great-grandchildren: Aiden, Abbey, Avery, Conner, Chloe, Audrey, Tucker, Kellan, Shawna, Kipton, Jessie, Maddie, Kade and Kemper; by her step-grandchildren: Kevin and Kelli; by her step-great-grandchildren: Bryant, Briann, Liliana and Abby; by her sister-in-law, Carolyn Miller of Vevay; and her several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Arnold Wilbur Miller, who died on May 22nd, 1967 and Gladys Mary (Lindsay) Miller, who died on November 5th, 1995; by her husband, Everett Dean Griffin, who died on February 23rd, 2017; by her grandson, Shawn Michael Barnes, who died on March 27th, 2000; by her great-grandson, Phoenix Garcia, who died on July 7th, 2017; by her sister, Marilyn A. (Miller) Morgan, who died on August 13th, 2016; by her brother, Reverend Kenneth Earl “Kenny” Miller, who died on March 7th, 2017; and by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: John Griffin, who died on July 10th, 1972 and Frona (St. John) Griffin, who died on October 20th, 1988.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, February 21st, by Pastor Chris Clemans, at the funeral home. Interment followed in the Pleasant Cemetery, Pleasant, Indiana.

Linda Franzone, age 70, formerly of Vevay, currently residing in Ridgeland, South Carolina was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020.
Linda leaves behind her husband of 50 years Frank Stan Franzone; and will be missed by her son, Jordan Franzone and his wife Christine; her daughter Christine Woodward and her husband Scott; her grandchildren: Kassandra Woodward, Damien Woodward, Dalton Woodward, Annmarie Moscola, Joseph Moscola, Cody Franzone, Brandon Franzone, and Kaitlyn Franzone; and her two great grandsons: Kenneth and Jordan Franzone.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Velma Allen; her sister Debbie Griffin; and by great grandson Mathew Franzone.
