The Community Foundation of Switzerland County, Inc., has several scholarships available to non-traditional students.
While the definition of a “non-traditional student” can vary, in most cases, it refers to students that are enrolled in college after being out of high school for some time.
The online scholarship application may be viewed and completed at www.cfsci.org/scholarships.php. The criteria and application requirements for each scholarship vary based on the donor’s wishes. There are scholarships available for education, health, business, art and other fields of study. There is one common application that all applicants must complete. Some scholarships will require that additional information be submitted as well.
Applications may be submitted until 3 p.m. on February 23rd, 2017. The award amounts vary and scholarships must be used for tuition and required expenses only. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mid-June.
