There has been no new updates on Rising Sun’s Craig Whitham who was listed as an official missing person on Tuesday, February 23rd by family members.
Whitham, who has served as treasurer of the Aurora Life Squad, was interviewed by police on Monday, February 22nd regarding an investigation into missing squad funds.
Aurora Police Chief Josh Daugherty acknowledged that Whitham was a “person of interest” in the investigation. He could not disclose how much money was involved, as evidence from various subpoenas is still being gathered. No charges have been filed as of deadline.
Lt. Brandon Browning is in charge of the missing person search for the Rising Sun Police Department. Whitham is believed to be driving a silver 2014 Dodge Journey with Indiana plate HW6348.
