Everyone in Switzerland County is invited to come to the Switzerland County Courthouse this Saturday, December 20th, for a ceremony to officially swear in the new county officers who were elected last month.
The ceremony, will begin at 10 a.m., and will be held in the courtroom; and a reception will follow.
The ceremony will swear in Greg Coy as the first judge of the Switzerland Superior Court; Monica Hensley as the first prosecuting attorney of the Switzerland Superior Court; and will also include other county officials.
In addition, Circuit Court Judge Ted Todd and Superior Court Judge John Mitchell, both of whom will be leaving their Switzerland County responsibilities, will be on hand for the ceremony and reception.
Indiana State Senator Jim Lewis and Indiana State Representative Bob Bischoff have been invited to attend.
Everyone is invited to attend this historic and special event.
