Middle School volleyball in action


The volleyball teams at Switzerland County Middle School have been battling hard early in their season.

Last Wednesday night the teams were in action against Milan.

The seventh grade team fought hard but lost the first set by a score of 25-21; and then fell in the second set by a score of 25-10.

The eighth grade team also had two very close sets. The Lady Pacers won the first set by a score of 25-24; and then came back to win the second set by a score of 25-20.


On Tuesday the Lady Pacers played Southwestern.

It was the first game of the year for the sixth grade team from Jefferson-Craig Elementary; and the girls fought hard before losing in three sets: 19-25, 25-21, 9-15.

The seventh grade team lost in two sets by scores of 13-25; 10-25, but played very well and continue to improve.

The eighth graders picked up another victory, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-22.
