The Switzerland County Middle School cross country teams will wrap up its season this Monday night in the ORVC meet at Hanover, and as the teams race to the finish, both the boys and girls teams have been recording some impressive performances.
On Thursday, September 30th, the teams traveled to Madison.
The boys finished second to Madison by a score of 24-35; while Madison Shawe also competed, but did not have enough runners to record a team score.
For the Pacers, Talen Taylor was the overall winner in a time of 11:26; followed by Matt Yocum in third in a time of 12:17.
Bralen Harsin was eighth in a time of 12:46; Michael Scott was 11th in 13:18; and Charlie Reynolds was 12th in 13:34.
Other Switzerland County runners included: Casper Stow in 13th; Leon Kinne in 15th; Gaige Cohen in 18th; Will Pike in 19th; Austin South in 20th; Blake McAlister in 21st; Alex Herbert in 23rd; Hunter Hayes in 24th; Matt Roland in 29th; Jacob Schwab in 31st; Ryan Brubaker in 32nd; Riley Pegg in 33rd; Kenyon Bledsoe in 34th; and Sean Lewis in 35th.
In the girls race, Madison won with a score of 32; followed by Switzerland County with 51 and Madison Shawe with 60.
Individually, Cameron Ray led the Lady Pacers in fourth place in a time of 14:02; McKayli Scudder was seventh in a time of 14:25; and Audrey Kinne was ninth in a time of 14:44.
Adeli Kinne was 14th in a time of 16:05; and Emma Giglio was 17th in a time of 16:43.

On Monday night the middle school teams hosted a three-team race with Madison Shawe and Southwestern.
In the boys race, the Pacers won with a perfect score of 15; as neither Madison Shawe or Southwestern had enough runners to record a team score.
Talen Taylor won the race in a time of 11:20; followed by Matt Yocum in second in 12:07; Bralen Harsin in third in 12:18; Michael Scott in fourth in 12:39; and Casper Stow in fifth in 12:52.
Other Switzerland County runners included: Austin South in sixth; Charlie Reynolds in seventh; Hunter Hayes in eighth; Will Pike in ninth; Gaige Cohen in 10th; Blake McAlister in 11th; Alex Herbert in 13th; Ryan Brubaker in 16th; Riley Pegg in 17th; Jacob Schwab in 18th; Kenyon Bledsoe in 20th; Trysten Kielbasa in 21st; Sean Lewis in 23rd; Mathew Northcutt in 25th; and Tyler Vinup in 26th.
In the girls race, Switzerland County won with a score of 25; followed by Madison Shawe with 35; and Southwestern did not have enough runners.
Cameron Ray finished third overall to lead the Lady Pacers in a time of 12:57; followed by McKayli Scudder in fourth in a time of 13:15.
Audrey Kinne was sixth in a time of 14:06; Melissa Furnish was seventh in a time of 14:08; and Courtney Pedraza was ninth in a time of 14:28.
Other Lady Pacers competing in the meet included: Adeli Kinne in 11th; Emma Giglio in 13th; and Anna Roberts in 14th.
