The boys and girls cross country teams from Switzerland County Middle School earned victories last Thursday night in a dual meet with Jac-Cen-Del. Madison was also scheduled to compete, but didn’t show at the Vevay course due to a bus scheduling problem.
In the girls race, the Lady Pacers won by a score of 20-37.
Individually, Paige Freeman was the individual winner with a time of 13:23; followed by Robin Furnish in second place with a time of 13:24.
Taryn Parr was fourth overall for the Lady Pacers in a time of 13:54; Adeli Kinne was sixth in a time of 14:15; and Jaclyn Hart was seventh in a time of 14:22. Bre Ricketts was 10th in a time of 14:39; followed by Olivia Hewitt in 11th in a time of 15:02; Emily Dreyer in 14th in 15:26; and Kelsi Konkle in 15th in 15:34.
Brooke Todd was 16th in a time of 16:01; Courtney Pedraza was 17th in 16:02; Korah Taylor was 19th in 16:58; and McKenna Edwards was 20th overall in a time of 18:35.

The boys team won their race by a team score of 20-38; and were led in the victory by overall winner Braden Burk in a time of 11:10.
Alex Galbreath was third overall in a time of 11:41; followed by Tanner Gray in fourth in 11:45; and Hunter Jordan in fifth in 11:48. Talen Taylor ran seventh in a time of 12:04; Ryan Sullivan was ninth in 12:20; and Mikhail Cole was 11th in 12:35.
Riley Phagen was 14th (12:57); Doug Ray was 15th (12:58); Dakota Taylor was 16th (13:15); Charlie Reynolds was 19th (13:38); Alex Curran was 20th (13:48); Chase Ritch was 21st (14:14); and Micah Works was 22nd (14:56).
Also: Tyler Teel was 23rd (15:22); Justus Powell was 24th (15:43); Michael Scott was 26th (16:21); Austin Clark was 28th (17:14); and Riley Pegg was 29th (17:25).
