The Switzerland County Middle School cross country teams participated in a dual meet with Rising Sun on September 20th.
In the girls race, the Lady Pacers won with a perfect score of 15, while Rising Sun did not have enough runners to record a team score.
Whitley Schirmer was the individual winner of the meet, covering the course in a time of 12:46.
Taylar Jordan was second; Cameron Ray was third; Moriah Northcutt was fourth; and Melissa Furnish was fifth.
Leah Anders was sixth; McKayli Scudder was seventh; Audrey Kinne was eighth; Aleiah Thomas was ninth; Calleigh Powell was 13th; McKinley Scudder was 14th; Maggie Clayton was 15th; Keegan Turner was 16th; Bailey Crawford was 17th; Zoe Cole was 18th; Deanna Voris was 19th; and Emma Sullivan was 21st.
In the boys race, Rising Sun defeated Switzerland County by a score of 20-37.
Individually for the Pacers, Casper Stow was third overall; Leon Kinne was sixth; Will Pike was seventh; Jordan Lay was 10th; and Max Anders was 11th.
Cameron Pappucci was 12th; Hunter Hayes was 13th; Mason Spurlock was 14th; Riley Spurlock was 16th; Sam White was 23rd; Patrick Stow was 25th; and Matt Oatman was 26th.
Also: Austin Dennis was 31st; Eli Martin was 32nd; Trenton Spurlock was 33rd; Garrett Demaree was 34th; and Blake Johnson was 35th.
