The voting is going very well. Everyone seems to like the new method. It gives everyone the time to vote with the traveling team going to their towns and still leaving time to go to Vevay to finish up if they missed the early places.
The Hoosier Theater will present Main Street's Second Saturday Show "Magnolia Mountain" a good bluegrass music show. Hope to see you there Saturday, November 10th, at 7 p.m.
Jaylin Van Winkle called to say her daughter Molly Arvin Funk has landed a part in a movie in California where they live. Mollie's daughter Logan Bovard also got a part in the movie working with a new upcoming actor. Mollie will be acting with Julia Roberts' brother Eric Roberts. The movie is "The Garden of Eden." They will be on ID TV on Thanksgiving night.
Jerilyn will be having knee surgery soon. Keep her in your prayers.
We had a little visit with Brenda and Jeff Peelman last week. Jeff is doing well with his treatments. Also had a visit with Bill and Jackie Hill as they were in Vevay for a visit and the same evening we got to visit with Marietta Lester. Marietta is in Swiss Villa for a while and she really looks good. Juanita Baer was also in Vevay for a visit and we got to visit with her son Donnie.
Gladys Bond spent a few days in LaGrange, Kentucky Hospital due to a stroke. She is recovering at home and will be having therapy.
Jim Hambrick also may have had a stroke and is in a Kentucky hospital rehab and is doing well. She should be home soon.
Dorothy Jo Wilhoite has her arm in a cast from a fall but is able to work although we can't read her writing very good. I think she mentioned falling off a wagon.
Richard and Janet Sullivan's daughter Dana Einhaus was taken to a Louisville hospital with a health issue. I don't know what but think she is recovering. Keep all these wonderful people in your prayers. Also Rachael Whitham, David Beatty, Margaret Lee Weidmann and many others.
Sunday morning the Mt. Sterling Baptist Church recognized some women of faith in their church. Faye Lewis, Aldean Wiley, Mary Grace Lothridge, Florence Haskell and Mary Wiley. They received a gift, lots of hugs and a wonderful lunch. Mary Wiley was unable to attend so she will get her gift and hugs later.
Glenda Sullivan, Patty Chase and many more from the Vevay Center Square area went to the visitation at Morgan-Nay Funeral Centre for Lenora Shepherd of Hanover. She is Brother Gary Shepherd's mother. She was a fine lady and will be missed. Brother Gary is the Center Square Baptist preacher. Sympathy to the family.
Sympathy also to the Betty Shannon family. Betty was a lovely lady and will be missed. There was a family dinner after the funeral service at Florence Church of Christ.

Richard and Leona Adams spent the weekend with John and Bonnie Stutzman at Leavenworth. Monday they had lunch at the Overlook Restaurant and met one of Richard's fellow veteran service officers from Posey County, Gene and Barbara McCoy. They had a nice visit. Sunday they went to the Billy Wainscott visitation.
Saturday night they went to the Bennington's Eastern Star dinner for the local Masons. There was a big attendance and lots of great food.
Bonnie and Roy Duckworth's grandchildren all visited them over the weekend. Harold Sims of Swiss Villa had two visits from family last week. Bob Sims from Shelbyville, Kentucky came before going to Texas with his work. Dan and Jeanne Sims from Boston and their daughters from Georgia and California visited Sunday over lunch at Mo's. Ken and Sylvia Byars enjoyed seeing Dan's whole family.
Denny and Diana Brown's company was Angie Handlon, Audrey Marsh, Jack and Judy Bailey, Casey Auxier, Jaxen Kelley, Mason Kelley, Ed James, Pat Collier, Herman Wattenbarger, Shawn and Analise Auxier and Rita Sullivan. Thanks to Rita for the Vietnam veterans book. Good job.
