The Vevay American Legion Auxiliary will host a Craft Fair this Saturday, November 9th, at the Jack Sullivan Senior Citizen Building from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Anyone from, or who has ties to, Switzerland County is invited to set up a booth for a very nominal fee of $20. All kinds of crafts are welcome, as long as they are homemade. The Auxiliary has already had many contacts from quilters, woodworkers, jewelry makers, floral arrangements and food products.
The setting will be a festival one, with a Christmas tree, hot soup and sandwiches available, and just a lot of visiting. Come join the Auxiliary for the first annual Vevay Craft Fair.
Applications for booths are available at the American Legion, Vevay Newspapers or can be emailed to you. Please call Rita Sullivan at 427-3947 or Sharon Hansel at 812-599-6709 for information. Deadline for application will be November 4th, so tables can be set up.
Money made from the Craft Fair will help defray costs to send at least two girls to Hoosier Girl's State.
