Indiana Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann was the keynote speaker at the 2015 Ohio County Lincoln Day Dinner.
Mayor April Hautman welcomed the Lieutenant Governor, introduced her and presented her with a key to the City of Rising Sun.
As Lieutenant Governor, Ellspermann heads the Indiana State Department of Agriculture; the Office of Energy Development; the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority; the Office of Community and Rural Affairs and the Office of Tourism Development.
She comes from Ferdinand, Indiana – a smaller town than Rising Sun. She spoke on the need to assist all Indiana towns – not just the large ones – and her heart for small town Indiana.
Representative Randy Frye addressed legislation that is being addressed in this session as well as the balanced budget. A large crowd was on hand to enjoy the dinner and evening.
