Long Run Association sets Lenten services

The Long Run Association of American Baptist Churches will continue its series of Sunday evening Lenten Services this Sunday night. The services will continue through Palm Sunday, and everyone is invited to attend.

Services begin each night at 6:30 p.m., and there is also an association choir that practices each evening beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Here’s a schedule of locations and speakers:

– This Sunday, February 24th, the service will be held at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Mike Jones will be the speaker, and special music will be provided by John Mikkiah Thompson and the church choir.

– On Sunday, March 3rd, the service will be held at Center Square Baptist Church, and Lenny Thorpe will be bringing the message.

– On Sunday, March 10th, the service will be held at Long Run Baptist Church, and Tom Rogers will be bringing the message.

– On Sunday, March 17th, the service will be held at Union Baptist Church, and K.C. Banta will be bringing the message.

- The services will conclude on Palm Sunday, March 24th, when the association choir presents its Easter Cantata under the direction of John Erickson at Switzerland Baptist Church.

The community is invited to attend any or all of these services.
