The Switzerland County Lions Club’s 30th annual ‘Scramble for Sight’ golf scramble will be held on Saturday, September 9th. The scramble will be held at Vineyard Golf Course in Quercus Grove, and proceeds benefit county residents who are in need of assistance with eye care; and also to support various contributions that the club makes to the community.
The scramble will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the format will feature four-person teams. The entry fee is $200 per team, and there is also an optional ‘skins’ game for $20 per team.
Lunch and soft drinks are provided while teams are playing, and several door prizes will be given away during the scramble.
First place pays $400; second place pays $300; third place pays $200; and fourth, fifth, and sixth places pay $100. There will also be a $50 prize for the closest to the pin on all par 3’s.
