Great service
To the Editor:
I apologize for the delay but I did want to thank and commend the entire Switzerland County EMS board for the approval of non-emergency medical transportation for the community.
It is a service that will greatly benefit the elderly, the frail of health and those not having family and friends to assist them at times when they need assistance the most. It will also be of great help to Swiss Villa residents and their families in meeting a very real need.
The staff and I at Swiss Villa have heard very positive feedback from visitors in the community on your vote to provide this service. We have even received inquiries on how to access the service. It will be a true asset and blessing to so many you serve.
Again, our thanks for the farsightedness and understanding of meeting a real community need.
