Band boosters thankful
for support of car show
We had an exceptionally good car show this year. The weather was great and many people came out to show their cars and their support for the Shiner Pride Marching Band program.
This awesome event would not be possible without all of the hard work and dedication of many people. Thanks to all of our boosters who worked so hard before, during, and after the show to make it a success, both parents and kids. Without all of the help and support from all of the boosters, the show simply could not happen.
We would also like to thank the City of Rising Sun for all of their help and support. Without their financial support, we could not put on the car show. Thank you to Mayor Bascom and City Council. We would like to thank the Rising Sun Police and EMS for their services during the show and for keeping all of the exhibitors, workers, spectators, and property safe. Thank you also to the City Workers who make our town look so nice.
We want to thank all of the judges and car groups who came out to help with the car, truck, and motorcycle judging. Thanks to Jeff Knobeloch and the Tri-State Mopar Club for handling the car and truck judging. They did a superior job, as usual. Thanks to John and Donna Craig of the AFR for handling the motorcycle judging. They also did a fabulous job.
Thank you to all who moved their cars and put up with the inconvenience of not being able to access your driveways and parking spots during the show. We appreciate your cooperation.
Thanks to the Rising Star Casino for the donation of the water. Thanks also to Trammo Nitrogen Products- North Bend Operations for their generous cash donation. Thanks again to Chuck Simons for being our one man welcoming committee once again and for the donation of buns and muffins.
