Rowan Ziegler and her family manned a Lemonade Stand at Combs Pizza in Aurora on Wednesday, April 19th.

The lemonade stand raised $4010 for Cystic Fibrosis.

The lemonade stand was the third fundraiser by Adam and Valerie (Lovern) Ziegler to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of their son Jet and his battle against the disease.

A total of 237 Jet’s Flight t-shirts sold for a total of $2400. There was a gun raffle done live on Facebook which raised $2500 raised.

Jet’s Flight had pledged to raise $5500 this year but thanks to community support, it turned into $9000 with some donations still coming in.

What started as a 4 year old’s idea to raise money for her little brother’s CF team has blossomed into such an amazing event. Seeing a community come out and support Rowan’s Lemonade Stand and Jet’s Flight made for a very emotional day, say the Zieglers. A special thank you goes out to April Combs and Jesse Combs and the amazing staff at Combs Pizza. They were short staffed all day but dug in and pushed out amazing food for 10 straight hours. At the end of the night, Combs donated $500 of their sales to the lemonade stand.

To everyone who made baked goods and donated their time helping us out, we would not have been successful without you. To everyone who donated and ordered food, we can’t begin to thank you enough. There were many moments where we had to step back and take it all in. It was absolutely amazing.
