The Switzerland County Lady Pacer softball team remained undefeated on Monday night with a 15-5 thrashing of Southwestern.

The Lady Rebels jumped out in front in the first inning on a leadoff hit by Devin Brierly and a double from Jesse Oliver; but the Lady Pacers stormed back in the bottom of the opening inning to score six runs. Switzerland County then added six more runs in the bottom of the second and three more in the third to salt the game away early.

The Lady Rebels scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning, but it was simply too little, too late, as Switzerland County rolled to another win.

Ashley Chase had an outstanding game, going 3-for-3 at the plate with two triples and a double. She scored three runs and knocked in four more, and played solid defense behind starter and winning pitcher Kodi Driver.

Natalie Daugherty was 2-for-2 with a single and a double, scored three runs and had three RBI; and behind the plate defensively she threw out two Southwestern baserunners who were attempting to steal.

Natalie Graham was 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a single and knocking in two runs; Kodi Driver was 1-for-2 at the plate with three runs scored; Brittany Cole was 1-for-3 batting with two runs scored; Jaclyn Ranz had an RBI and a run scored; and Holly Jackson and Tanya Sefton each had a run scored.

Natalie Graham and Tanya Sefton each had two stolen bases; and Jaclyn Ranz and Courtney Cole each had one theft in the game.
