The Switzerland County Lady Pacer varsity track team wrapped up its regular season last Thursday night by finishing fourth in the Rising Sun Invitational.
South Dearborn won the meet with a score of 131; followed by East Central with 110; Lawrenceburg with 75; Switzerland County with 67; Rising Sun with 40; and Southwestern with 34.
First place finishers for Switzerland County included Christina Ahaus in the shot put with a distance of 34’3 1/2″; and Laci Daugherty in the long jump with a personal best distance of 14’2″.
Katie Hall also established a personal best distance of 84’5″ in finishing second in the discus; and Andrea Brogan was third in the 110-meter hurdles and Christina Ahaus was third in the discus.
Also finishing third in the meet was the 3,200-meter relay team of Halie Thomas, Amber Meli, Shana Todd, and Becca Sittloh.
Fourth place finishers included Laci Daugherty in the 100-meter hurdles; Andrea Brogan in a personal best time in the 300-meter hurdles; Amber Meli in a personal best time in the 3,200-meter run; and the 1,600-meter relay team of Dina Sun, Becca Sittloh, Shana Todd, and Andrea Brogan.
Fifth place finishers included Laci Daugherty in the high jump; and the 400-meter relay team of Katie Rayls, Dina Sun, Becca Sittloh, and Shana Todd; while Laci Daugherty also earned sixth place points in the 300-meter hurdles in a personal best time.
The Lady Pacers will compete in the conference meet tonight (Thursday) at South Ripley.
