The Switzerland County Middle School girls track team battled hard but fell to South Ripley in a dual meet held on Monday night.
The Lady Pacers fell by a team score of 52-48.
Earning first place points for Switzerland County were: Kelly Kincaid in the 110-meter hurdles; Ashley Watson in the shot put; Emily White in the 400-meter dash and the 200-meter dash; and Bre Hinman in the 800-meter run.
The 1,600-meter relay team of Allie Mathews, Kelly Kincaid, Bre Hinman, and Emily White also placed first.
Second places honored were earned by Emily White in the 100-meter dash; Allie Mathews in the 1,600-meter run; Ashley Watson in the discus and the high jump; and Bre Ricketts in the 400-meter dash.
Third places were earned by Kelly Kincaid in the 1,600-meter run; Shelby O’Neal in the discus; and Hannah Slover in the high jump.
“The girls worked very hard and accomplished many things in the meet and I’m very proud of them,” coach Lesa McGarvey said.
