The Switzerland County Lady Pacers made the cold, rainy trip to Owen County, Kentucky on Monday night; and the highly-touted Lady Rebels weren’t very kind to their guests, defeating Switzerland County by a final score of 61-19.
Whitley Schirmer led the Lady Pacers with seven points; and she also had three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Aleiah Thomas finished the night with five points, six rebounds, an assist, and one steal; while Mallory Phagan had two points, two steals, a rebound and an assist.
Taylar Jordan added two points, three rebounds, two steals, and one assist; and Kaitlyn Morris had two points and a rebound.
Rylee Hankins didn’t score in the game, but did outstanding work on the boards, finishing with five rebounds and an assist; McKenli Scudder had two steals and one rebound; and Lexi Lay had three rebounds.
The loss dropped the Switzerland County record to 3-5 overall; and the Lady Pacers look to get back to their winning ways this Saturday night with a home game versus Shawe Memorial. South Ripley visits on Tuesday, December 13th; and Switzerland County then travels to Southwestern to take on the Lady Rebels on Saturday, December 17th.
