The Switzerland County Lady Pacer softball team is once again compiling an outstanding season.
Last Wednesday, April 16th, the Lady Pacers opened their week with a tough, 5-4 loss to Milan.
Kelsi Konkle led the way offensively, as she was 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, a stolen base, and had two RBI.
She also handled the pitching duties, going all seven innings, striking out three and walking two. She gave up seven hits, and all five Milan runs were earned.
Also at the plate: Taylar Jordan was 1-for-2 with a run scored and a stolen base; Brooke Todd was 1-for-3; McKenna Edwards was 1-for-3; Samantha Christerson was 1-for-4 with a stolen base; Susie Reyes had an RBI; Bre Braun scored two runs; and Rachel Ard scored a run.

On Thursday, April 17th, the team defeated Madison Shawe by a score of 13-2.
Leading the offense was Samantha Christerson, who was 2-for-2 at the plate and scored two runs and had an RBI.
Kelsi Konkle was 2-for-5 on the day, scoring a run and knocking in three; and Brooke Todd was also 2-for-5 with an RBI.
Tyler Peelman was 1-for-1 with a run scored and an RBI; Rachel Ard was 1-for-1 with a run scored; Taylar Jordan was 1-for-3 including a double with two runs scored, and also had an RBI.
Susie Reyes was 1-for-3 with a run scored; McKenna Edwards was 1-for-5 with a run scored; Baylie Scudder had an RBI; Bre Braun scored two runs; and Hope Tankersley scored two runs and had an RBI.
On the mound, Kelsi Konkle went seven innings, striking out seven, allowing five hits and two walks.

On Saturday Switzerland County played Lawrenceburg in a doubleheader.
In the first game, the Lady Pacers won by a score of 8-5.
Again, Kelsi Konkle led the way offensively and from the mound. She pitched seven innings, striking out 10 and allowing six hits and five earned runs.
At the plate, she was 3-for-4 with a double, scored three runs, and added a stolen base; while Samantha Christerson was 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and two RBI.
Baylie Scudder was 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI; Vicky Abbott was also 1-for-3; and Brooke Todd was 1-for-4 with a run scored.
McKenna Edwards had an RBI; Susie Reyes had a run scored and an RBI; Tyler Peelman picked up an RBI; and Hope Tankersley had a run scored.
In the second game, Switzerland County fell by a score of 7-6.
Taylar Jordan was 2-for-3 at the plate; Kelsi Konkle was 2-for-4 with a double, scored three runs and had a stolen base; and Samantha Christerson was 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Rachel Ard was 1-for-3 and scored two runs; Susie Reyes was 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI; Bre Braun was 1-for-3 with a double; Mallory Phagan was 1-for-1 with a double; and Brooke Todd was 1-for-4.
On the mound Kassidy Murray pitched six innings, striking out two and allowing 11 hits and seven runs. Kelsi Konkle pitched one inning, allowing two hits.
