Lady Pacer soccer earns three huge wins for the week

The powerhouse Switzerland County Lady Pacer varsity soccer team continued its rampage through its schedule with two big wins during the past week.

Madison

On Wednesday evening, August 16th, the Lady Pacers traveled to Madison beating the Lady Cubs 5-0.

Once again, multiple players found the back of the net thanks to the great passing coming out of the midfield. The Pacers found themselves up 3-0 at halftime but they weren’t done yet.

The Lady Pacers would continue to dominate scoring two more times in the second half.

Kenzie Taylor scored the first goal of the game; while Emma Parsons scored the second goal, and then also connected on the team’s third goal off of an assist by Emma South.

Halle Archer scored the fourth goal of the game off of a penalty kick; and the game’s final goal was scored by Parsons with an assist by Archer.

The defensive line once again held the Lady Cubs for their second shutout of the season.

Carroll County

On Monday night the Lady Pacers welcomed the Carroll County Lady Panthers to Pacer Field, and weren’t very welcoming hosts, sending Carroll County home on a short end of a lopsided 10-1 score

It was the Lady Pacers first home game of the season.

The scoring got off to a quick start in the first half 6-0 and then continued in the second half with the final being 10-1. Switzerland County gave up a late goal in the match to take the shutout away.
