The Switzerland County Lady Pacer varsity golf team wrapped up the most successful season in school history on Saturday when the team competed in the IHSAA Sectional in Bedford, Indiana.
The Lady Pacers won 11 matches this year, eclipsing the old record; and competed well on Saturday in spite of enduring a long bus ride and playing a course they had never seen before. It was also the first time all season that the team had played 18 holes during a match.
Laci Daugherty led Switzerland County with a score of 108; and she was followed by Tiffany Lucas with a 118; Morgan Ross with a 121; Jenna Daugherty with a 131; and Emily Lanman with a 137.
Other members of the team included Kelsi South, Karoline Park, and Hilary Lanman. Mike McClure is the team’s coach.
