It’s hard to believe, but basketball season has arrived.
Coach Ashley Kitts’ Switzerland County Lady Pacer basketball team opens its season this Saturday, November 5th, at home versus Lawrenceburg.
The junior varsity game will get underway at 6 p.m.
The opener serves as the team’s “Angel Tree” game; and also on Saturday, Amanda Kitts will have a table accepting monetary donations to help raise money for the CAC (Children’s Advocacy Center).
Anyone making a monetary donation, who is donating a toy or more than one toy, will receive tickets that will enter them in a raffle to win a free Holloway jacket that they can personalize with their own school mascot.
Make plans now to attend and support the Lady Pacers.
Saturday’s opener is the first of four straight home games to open the year for Switzerland County.
On Friday, November 11th, Madison comes to town; followed on Saturday, November 12th by a visit from South Dearborn. A home game against Rising Sun on Friday, November 18th completes the homestand.
