Kirk Works of Vevay, president of the Swiss Wine Festival and vice president of the Indiana State Festivals Association, has been awarded the Jo Hauck Award.
The award, which is named after Josephine Hauck, an important figure in the early history of the Indiana State Festivals Association, was presented during a special luncheon held during the ISFA’s annual convention.
The award is given annually to honor individuals who have contributed significantly to the building of festivals in the state of Indiana.
Kirk Works was honored for his outstanding leadership and service to the Swiss Wine Festival during his 13 years of involvement.
The award was presented by Toni Meyer, current president of the Indiana State Festivals Association.
