Switzerland County School Corporation is currently underway with its Preschool and Kindergarten registration for next year.
• Switzerland County Elementary School has already held its registration; but parents who were not able to attend should contact the school at (812) 534-3128.
• Jefferson-Craig Elementary School will hold its registration for the 2018-2019 school year this Tuesday, April 10th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Jeff-Craig gym.
Preschool students will need to be age four by August 1st, 2018. The classroom size is limited/testing to be completed. Kindergarten students will need to be age five by August 1st, 2018.
When enrolling a child, you will need to bring: your child, a copy of your child’s up to date immunization records and a copy of your county/state issued birth certificate. The high school requests that you also bring a copy of your child’s social security card, as they will need that when they get into high school.
Please expect the registration to last approximately one hour.
Preschool immunizations that are required: Dtap: 4, Hep B: 3, Polio: 3, Varicella: 1, MMR: 1.
Kindergarten immunizations that are required: Dtap: 4, Hep B: 3, Polio: 4. Varicella: 2, MMR: 2, Hep A: 2.
