Switzerland County Schools will hold enrollment for children who will be entering kindergarten in the 2015-2016 school year on April 7th and April 14th.
Enrollment for children will be held at Jefferson-Craig Elementary School on Tuesday, April 7th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For students who will attend Switzerland County Elementary School, the registration will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14th.
To be eligible, a child must be five years old on or before August 1st, 2015.
Parents bringing their child to the kindergarten enrollment should also bring:
– Your child
– An official birth certificate. This is one issued by the county/state health department.
– The child’s up to date immunization record.
Immunizations that are required include: five doses of DTaP; four doses of polio; two doses of the Hepatitis A vaccine; three doses of Hepatitis B vaccine; two MMR (measles, mumps, rubella); two doses of Varicella (chicken pox) or physician documentation of disease history, including the month and year that the child had chicken pox.
