The Southwestern Lady Rebels won this year’s IHSAA Class 2A Sectional softball championship held at the Switzerland County field, and players have been honored with inclusion on the All Sectional team.
Sophomore Lady Pacer Kelsi Konkle was the lone Switzerland County player on the roster of 12 players.
The Most Valuable Player in the Sectional was Kelsi Brierly of Southwestern; and she was joined on the squad by teammates Austin Courtney, Shaye Geer, Karli Long, and Meagan Ralston.
Also earning inclusion were Ashley Guthrie, Teresa Jenkins, Hannah Lohrum, and Morgan Widener of runner up Milan; Anna Wallpe of North Decatur; and Emily Cumberworth of South Ripley.
