The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its “Top Performers” and “Players of the Week” for the time period of January 24th-29th, and Switzerland County’s Keegan Kincaid was honored as the “Player of the Week” for boys basketball.
He was spotlighted for his 36 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists over a two-game span.
Other conference players earning “Top Performer” honors included: Michael Kring and Nico Mingione of Madison Shawe; Trevor Arnett and Joe Abplanalp of Jac-Cen-Del; Nathan Hannan and Jake Willhite of Rising Sun; Kurtis Kimla and Braden Voss of Milan; Jerad Walters and Brandon Sizemore of South Ripley; and Hunter Means and Caleb Jones of Southwestern.
In statistical leaders for boys basketball:
- Keegan Kincaid leads the ORVC in scoring with an average of 16.0 points per game; is sixth in freethrow percentage at .730; is fifth in the number of assists with 45; and is second in the conference in the number of three-pointers made with 34.
– Adam Clark is second in the conference in rebounding with an average of 7.5 per game; and is second in field goal percentage at .559.

In girls basketball, Lady Pacers Kristen Perry and Hayley South were honored as “Top Performers”.
Kristen Perry was honored for her 23 points, 12 rebounds, 11 steals, and five assists in two games.
Hayley South was honored for her 14 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists versus Rising Sun.
Other conference players honored as “Top Performers” include: Becca Wagner, Meagan Hughes and Alyssa Hammond of Jac-Cen-Del; Jessica Foster of South Ripley; Kennedy Oser, Kelsey Baillie and Samie Lozier of Rising Sun; and Hana Roberts of Madison Shawe.
Brandi Ponder of Southwestern was honored as the conference’s “Player of the Week.”
In statistical leaders for girls basketball:
– Kristen Perry is seventh in the conference in scoring with an average of 11.2 points per game; and is also sixth in the conference in rebounding with an average of 6.9 per game. She is fifth in the league in assists with 42; seventh in the number of three-pointers made with 14; 10th in field goal percentage at .397; and third in freethrow percentage at .750.
– Trisha Smith leads the conference in field goal percentage at .547 and also is second in the conference in freethrow shooting percentage at .754. She is ninth in scoring with an average of 10.3 points per game; and is ninth in the league in rebounding with an average of 6.1 per game.
– Hayley South is eighth in the conference in scoring with an average of 11.1 points per game; is 10th in the ORVC in rebounding with an average of 5.9 per game; and is sixth in the conference in field goal percentage at .443.
– Becca Sittloh is second in the ORVC in assists with 56; and is fourth in the conference in the number of three-point field goals made with 28.
– Bre Hinman is fourth in assists with 45.
