Jaclyn Ranz named tourney MVP

Switzerland County Lady Pacer Jaclyn Ranz wowed Rivertown Classic tourney fans on Wednesday night by outscoring the South Dearborn Lady Knights all by herself; and then capped the tourney on Saturday night by leading the Lady Pacers in scoring while winning the tournament championship.

When it was over, she was also honored as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
In voting by media covering the tournament, Jaclyn Ranz was named as the MVP as a part of the six-member All Tournament team.
Joining her on the squad were teammates Ashley Chase and Brittany Cole; while the team was rounded out by Sara Vorbroker and Jayna Kohorst of Lawrenceburg; and Tara Valentine of Rising Sun.

In boys tournament action, tourney champion South Dearborn had three players honored, headed by MVP Kevin Hetzer. He was joined by teammates Salvi Greco and Nathan Sneed.
Runnerup Rising Sun had the other three team members, with Curtis Fogle, Jesse McClure, and Jordan Knaus all earning a spot.
