The administration of Switzerland County High School would like to inform students and parents of some policies that are found in the school’s dress code for the 2011-2012 school year.
Administrators will be putting an emphasis this year on the rule that stipulates no holes in jeans. Although this rule has been in the dress code in the past, teachers and administrators will be making it a point of emphasis this year.
The other change in the dress code deals with shorts.
Beginning with this school year, the only shorts that will be allowed to be worn at the high school during the school day will be shorts that reach the top of the knee.
Shorts that fall above the knee will not be acceptable.
These changes are being made known to students and parents now so that they can be considered when doing shopping for school clothes.
Parents needing more information may contact the school at 427-2626.
