The Switzerland County Health Department has announced that Lifeline Screening will be available here on Wednesday, August 2nd.
The screenings are being sponsored by the health department for chronic diseases.
The health department can enroll 80 persons who are 40 years old or older to receive this benefit. The package will consist of carotid artery, atrial fibrillation, peripheral arterial disease and abdominal aortic aneurysym screenings. Also, a bone density test is being added this year.
This is only for Switzerland County residents.
The health department will advertise for appointments as the date gets closer.
