The boys and girls cross country teams from Switzerland County High School participated in the Silver Creek Invitational on Tuesday, September 18th.
In the boys race, Pacer coach Adam Cole said that the team had a strong showing, finishing seventh overall in a field of 16 teams.
Individually, Braden Burk ran to a 12th place overall finish in a time of 17:35; while Talen Taylor was 27th overall in a time of 18:23.
Sean Oatman was 38th in 18:54; Mikhail Cole was 74th in 20:35; Matt Yocum was 83rd in 20:56; Zack Rodgers was 99th in 21:50; and Dakota Taylor was 113th in a time of 22:54.
In the girls race, the Lady Pacers did not have enough runners to record a team score, but the four Switzerland County runners did very well.
Robin Furnish finished 11th overall in a time of 21:46; Paige Ridener was 13th in 22:10; Jaclyn Hart was 75th in 26:16; and Adeli Kinne was 97th in a time of 31:06.
