The traditional Halloween Parade held in Vevay; on, then off, then on again, will be held this Saturday, October 29th.
After it was announced that the tradition of the Halloween Parade in Vevay wouldn’t happen this year; two county residents stepped forward to make sure that it would continue after all.
Because it’s too late to get highway permits and permission, the parade will be held in the Paul Ogle Riverfront Park, around the park square.
Line up for the parade will begin at 4:45 p.m. in the park at the end of Washington Street; with the parade kicking off at 5 p.m.
Following the parade, there will be costume judging on the basketball courts of the park; and then everyone will be able to go uptown for trick or treating.
Trick or treating in town will then be held this Saturday, October 29th, from 6-8 p.m.
In Patriot, trick or treating will be held this Monday, October 31st, from 6-8 p.m.
Riverview Baptist Church will be holding a ‘trunk or treat’ event at their church, located at 1341 Spring Branch Road just west of Vevay, tomorrow (Friday, October 28th), from 6-8 p.m.
