Gracie White leads Lady Pacers to win


The Switzerland County Middle School cross country teams participated in the Duke Meyer Classic last Saturday in Hanover.

The Switzerland County girl’s team continued its outstanding season by earning the team title, led by individual overall winner Gracie White, who led the way with a time of 12:52.

Other Lady Pacer runners and times included: Halle Archer, 14:08; Carlee Boggs, 14:10; Alisha Detmer, 14:21; Courtney Higgins, 14:43; Bri Stow, 15:17; Dakota Richards, 15:41; Eva Hicks, 15:43; Macy Collier, 16:31; Molly Hicks, 16:58; and Amber Detmer, 16:59.

The boys also finished very strong, bringing home second place honors.

Ben Hicks led the way for the team with a time of 11:54; while other times included: Peyton Richards, 13:14; Cale Collier, 13:29; Luke Sullivan, 13:52; Matthew Young, 15:08; Michael Young, 15:19; Jamison Works, 16:16; and Dylan Sullivan, 16:30.
