Bill Barnes! The Switzerland County Salvation Army has nominated Bill Barnes of Tapps Ridge for this week’s “Good for You!” award.
Debbie Allen of the Salvation Army writes: “The Switzerland County Salvation Army would like to nominate Bill Barnes for the ‘Good for You’ award.
“We would like to thank Mr. Barnes for his service and dedication to the Christmas in July bell ringing campaign.
“He has raised additional funds for Switzerland County. Due to his efforts, the Salvation Army Fund will continue to aid those in need. We also thank everyone who gave in the kettles that Mr. Barnes stood by.
“Mr. Barnes and the generous givers are a blessing to this community.”
