Jamie Lay and Joe Lewis! Tim and Marcie Hensley of near East Enterprise have nominated Jamie Lay and Joe Lewis, both of near East Enterprise, for this week’s “Good for You!” award.
Tim Hensley writes: “My wife and I would like to nominate Jamie Lay and Joe Lewis for the ‘Good for You’ award.
We would like to nominate them for their outstanding character and sportsmanlike conduct while coaching the YMCA boys basketball team that our son played on.
“Our son, Adam Hensley, was on their team but did not place in the tournament. He was taught that the important thing is not always winning, but how you play the game. Jamie and Joe presented each boy with a trophy for their efforts all season. Thank you, Jamie and Joe.”
