Penny Christman, John Kinman, and Pete Furnish! Del Percer of the Historic Hoosier Theater board of directors has nominated Penny Christman, John Kinman, and Pete Furnish for this week’s “Good for You!” award.
Del Percer writes: “The board of directors of the Historic Hoosier Theater would like to nominate Penny Christman, John Kinman, and Pete Furnish for the ‘Good for You’ award.
“Last Tuesday, Penny noticed that the door to the theater was propped open, but could not find anyone inside. She called me at work, and I called Libby Kinman and asked if she would check it out. Libby sent John, who discovered once inside that we had another big plumbing issue.
“John contacted Pete, who sent someone from the town to turn off the water, avoiding further damage.
“Had it not been for Penny, John, Pete, this problem could have gone undetected for days, and there’s no telling how much damage could have been done. Thank you all for being such caring citizens.”
