Calob Curlin! Kim Jackson of Vevay has nominated eight-year old Calob Curlin of Popcorn Ridge for this week’s “Good for You!” award.
Kim Jackson writes: “I would like to nominate Calob Curlin for the ‘Good for You’ award for his generous donation. Giving to others in need is a commendable act of kindness that often goes unnoticed, but when Calob heard about the first annual soup kitchen in Vevay, he wanted to help others, too.
“He was asked to perform with Bill Wiseman at the ‘First Friday’ event on January 5th, and decided that any tips that he received he would donate back to help others. Calob received $18 in tips, and he chose to donate it to the Swiss Friends of Animals.”
