Julia Hazeldean! Robin and Joan Hochstasser of Markland Pike have nominated Julia Hazeldean of Markland Pike for this week’s “Good for You!” award.
The Hochstrassers write: “We would like to nominate Julia Hazeldean for the ‘Good for You’ award.
“With the recent comments in the newspaper about the trash being thrown and dumped on our highways, we would like to publicly thank someone who is making a difference.
“Julia Hazeldean is one of those who is trying to make a difference and can be seen on Markland Pike picking up the discarded trash that is thrown on the road. She picks up trash on a significant part of Markland Pike in an effort to beautify all our property. We have privately thanked her numerous times, but wanted to go public to let others know the extra effort she is putting forth to make a difference.”
