Terry Hall! Brenda Riley of near Moorefield, has nominated Terry Hall of near Moorefield for this week’s “Good for You!” award.
Brenda Riley writes: “I would like to nominate Terry Hall for the ‘Good for You’ award.
“On Tuesday, February 19th, the day that school was called off because of cold and icy conditions, the people on Vanosdol Road and other neighbors on Highway 129 had a door to door salesman selling magazines – on foot!
“A call was made to the sheriff’s department, but no one came out until after the man was run off by Terry Hall. He took it upon himself to follow the man out the road and made sure he was gone. He then went back and checked on a young, pregnant woman to make sure she was okay.
“We are all very blessed to have such a great friend and a caring neighbor, whom we can call on anytime, day or night – and for that, I am very thankful.”
