James Carfield! Juanita Detmer of Patriot has nominated James Carfield of near Cross Plains for this week’s “Good for You” award.
Juanita Detmer writes: “I would like to nominate James Carfield for the ‘Good for You!’ award.
“Saturday the 9th I had the misfortune of having a tire go flat near East Enterprise. As I pulled to the side of the road, a vehicle followed and two young men had seen the tire go flat and stopped to fix the problem.
“A third man who was passing by knew those who were working, and he turned around to help, too. In my excitement of the moment, I got only James Carfield’s name.
“How very fortunate I was to have thoughtful young men nearby; and may God bless and keep them in His care.”
